Experience
I've been a tutor and New York State certified teacher of middle and high school students for nearly ten years. I love to help students become confident and do their best on the ACT/SAT (Verbal), in U.S. and Global History courses, Regents, and APs, and in essay writing. I'm experienced in teaching teen literacy and students with special needs. I coached students who won the top championship awards in a county-wide moot court competition in Westchester, New York. Before teaching, I worked as the Law and Social Science Editor at Oxford University Press, New York and a Developmental Editor of social science textbooks at D.C. Heath in Massachusetts.
