Education

I graduated from the University of Minnesota Duluth in May 2014 where I majored in Biology with a minor in Spanish/Hispanic Studies. I also took many Chemistry classes, as well as cultural classes outside of my major. My GPA upon graduation was 3.64. I am currently attending Sarah Lawrence College in Bronxville to obtain my Master of Science Degree in Human Genetics. Upon completion of this degree, I will be a Genetic Counselor.

Experience

My overall ACT score was 30. In high school, I took numerous college level courses. I have tutored at various high schools in Northern Minnesota throughout my undergraduate schooling. I am also proficient in reading, writing, and speaking Spanish. For the past year, I have been working as a Medical Scribe in a family practice clinic in St. Cloud. I have taken the MCAT twice and the GRE twice as well, improving my score each time.

I enjoy going to the gym on a regular basis to lift weights. In my free time, I like to craft, knit, and bake. I'm looking forward to spending the next few years in New York, exploring and learning as much as I possibly can.
