ExperienceI've been working as a tutor for a number of years now, and during that time, I've been able to help students of all ages gain the skills needed to succeed in the classroom. From my own experiences as a student, I know what it's like to become frustrated and feel exhausted after struggling academically - especially with math. While it's true that not everyone has the natural talent to learn new math concepts quickly and easily, I believe that everyone can excel in mathematics with help from a good teacher. For this reason, I like to work closely with students so that I get to know their strengths and weaknesses. Once I have a better understanding of the student's needs and expectations, I'm able to come up with a teaching strategy that allows them to expand their existing skill set instead of developing a new one altogether. For me, learning about math and physics is like trying to solve a puzzle. Once you know where to look for information, finding the right answer is easy. As the teacher, I believe that it's my job to make the process even easier by providing real-world explanations that everyone can relate to, so that they're more likely to understand how to practically apply the material covered in class.
