I am a math and science tutor with a variety of experiences as a student, a teacher, and a professional in the private sector. I graduated with honors with a bachelor's degree in chemistry and math from the CUNY College of Staten Island. In college, I worked as a math and science tutor, helping students in a range of topics, including chemistry, physics, trigonometry, calculus, and algebra. Following graduation, I began working in research analysis at the University of Dentistry and Medicine of New Jersey, where I review research, search databases, and analyze data. I have been working in research since my freshman year of college, and a number of projects I have worked on have gone on to be published in prominent journals. I have also served as an adjunct lecturer in the math department at the College of Staten Island, where I spent two years teaching statistics, pre-calculus, trigonometry, and algebra. I am more than comfortable teaching other math topics, too, including elementary math and Advanced Placement Calculus AB and BC. When I am not working or tutoring, I enjoy cooking, playing video games, and running.
