Education
Graduated from Fort Hamilton High School in 2014 as a member of the National Honor Society with an advanced regents diploma. I am currently a sophomore Civil Engineering student at Manhattan College in Riverdale with a 3.8/4.0 GPA. I am part of the Honors enrichment program, and have received various scholarships for Academic Excellence.
Experience
Tutored High School students as part of the National Honor Society. I currently work at a Community Center in the Bronx where I help middle-school students with their homework, mostly in math and science. I want to be a tutor because I am passionate about math and science, which is why I'm working towards an engineering degree. I also enjoy teaching other people because I believe I am good at it and I have tips and tricks to help others achieve their academic goals; it is something I genuinely enjoy. In college I have taken Calculus 1 and 2, and chemistry I and I received A's on all those 3 courses. I have also been part of the Dean's list for 2 semesters. In High school I took algebra, geometry, trigonometry, earth science, living environment, chemistry and I scored above a 90 on all those regents. I also obtained an SAT score of 1950/2400, SAT Spanish Subject Test score 800/800.

Hobbies
During my free time I enjoy bike riding, and painting. Although I love math and science, I also enjoy writing, and liberal arts subjects such as Religion, history, writing, etc. I managed to get As in all these courses in college, so I believe academically I am a well rounded individual.
