I attended the University of Maryland in College Park, and I received a B.A. in Secondary Education, along with Russian and Spanish. I then attended the City University of New York Graduate Center, where I obtained an M.S. in Urban Education. I have seven years' experience teaching Spanish at the middle school and high school level, along with privately tutoring individuals struggling with Spanish classes.When tutoring Spanish, I love having the opportunity to be creative with my language skills. In addition to the language, I also love Spanish culture. While it is challenging to master Spanish, I work hard to make my lessons fun and exciting.I have lived and studied in both Spain and Russia, where I was privileged to get the chance to experience new cultures while sharpening my language skills. I currently operate an online store where I sell various educational tools and materials. Teaching is something I feel very passionately about. It is thrilling to watch students learn skills that will help them academically as well as professionally.When I am not pursuing languages, I love to travel around the world. I have seen a lot of Europe, including Russia, Italy, and Greece. I also love getting away from the city and being around nature, where I can go camping or kayak down the river.
