Education
I attended a 3 year Social Science and Humanities program to earn my Bachelors at Ariel University in Israel. Courses were all in Hebrew. I ranked as part of the top 10% of my class with an overall average of 91. I am now starting at Manhattan College's School of Arts to earn a Bachelor's in Middle East and African studies.
Experience
I have experience tutoring English for over 4 years and continue to tutor selective students online. I tutored elementary and high school students, and coached for the TOEFL, SAT, ACT, and ASVAB exams as well. I attended 3 year Social Sciences degree program at Ariel University, and at the same time I spent a total of 7 years working in the Middle East as part of an independent media & communications company, where my duties included writing and editing articles and training interns. It was very rewarding, and I enjoyed mentoring new journalists and I would like to continue in a similar path. I have the ability to identify one's learning capabilities as they vary. I have different methods, approaches and materials to make time as productive and efficient as possible. I understand that it takes some people more time/practice to grasp the fundamentals of any subject and that's where patience plays a role. I love the teaching process, and I will help you achieve self confidence and your desired grade.
