I am attending City College of New York, where I am a senior pursuing a bachelor's degree in civil engineering. I have years of experience tutoring students from high school to college age in a variety of math courses. I'm able to help students in algebra, calculus, geometry, trigonometry, differential equations, high school math, and advanced courses like AP Calculus AB. I can also assist students in preparation for the CLEP in Precalculus. I believe that students must build a solid foundation of basic math knowledge to be successful when attempting to master advanced math concepts. Most of the time when a student that comes to me is struggling with math, it is because they haven't been taught properly. I break down the problems that students are struggling with to figure out exactly where the student runs into difficulty. From there, we review each step until the student can work the problem with ease. When students can recognize patterns and master concepts in that manner, he or she will be able to work through almost any math course successfully. In my spare time, I like to play video games like the Legend of Zelda, watch basketball, and draw.
