Hi, I'm Sherri, a Brooklyn native that loves to teach and travel. I earned my bachelor's and master's degrees in Math Education at Hunter Honors College. Since then, I have been spending the majority of my time volunteering, teaching at New York City public schools, and tutoring privately. I have also followed my passions by traveling as far as Thailand.I am able to tutor in a variety of math subjects, from elementary and middle school math, through all levels of algebra, and geometry, trigonometry, and precalculus. I can also help you prepare for your CLEP precalculus test, or other CLEP exams.It is my belief that each child can learn anything they set their minds to. It is vital to a child's education to have a strong team of caretakers and educators to support them and help them achieve their academic goals. I encourage children to be their unique selves and be well-rounded, productive students that feel confident that they can play a part in their educational surroundings. I also believe in helping children be confident enough to do their very best. When I am not tutoring, I enjoy volunteering, listening to music, playing the trumpet and piano, and spending time outdoors.
