I am a physician and father of three, with extensive experience mentoring, teaching and training high-school, college and medical and nursing school students. In addition, I have been actively involved in teaching medical residency and medical fellowship trainees. I utilize facilitative and Socratic, as well as the traditional didactic method of instruction. My approach with an individual student takes into account many factors including the subject matter and student's objective(s) (e.g., to excel in the specific course and/or state and/or national test), her/his learning style, level of proficiency and ability. I am creative, personable, well-organized and intelligent. I completed a residency in Pediatrics and a fellowship in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine, and I have been working at academic medical centers since 1995.
