I previously tutored grades K-8th in reading, writing, vocabulary and math. I'd like to help the next generation stay competitive and assist in obtaining the skills they need to achieve their goals. Learning how to analyze text is a great exercise in critical thinking. Most of my grad courses were of this nature including: Chaucer, Magical Realism and Poetry: Critical Practice. My undergrad GPA is 3.48 where I won several creative writing awards including 1st prize in poetry my senior year. My grad school GPA is 3.70 where I judged a NYC poetry contest for the Poetry Outreach Center.
