My tutoring philosophy is centered around making learning a fun and interactive experience. I accomplish this by using a hands-on approach, and material that allows students to express their creativity. My hope is that they can give life to their imaginations. I am certified to teach grades 1-6 in New York. My education is well-suited to tutor youth in Math and Literacy. I received a master's degree in Childhood Education. As such, I have the skills needed to tutor a range of students who have different abilities. If you have a child that can benefit from tutoring, I would consider it an honor to assist your student.My main goal as an educator is to help others experience intellectual growth, along with a desire to continue learning for life. I teach Math and Science, and tutor students to become proficient in their writing. However, I am effective in every area of a student's curriculum. I work hard, and have a lot of dedication, and enthusiasm in helping students learn as best they can. My goal is also to help them develop their interests and talents. I tutor Algebra 1-2, Elementary Math, Geometry, Trigonometry, Reading for grades 1-5, Writing for grades 1-5, Middle School Math, and Science. When not tutoring, I enjoy tinkering with cars, reading, electronics, and robotics.
