I received my degree from the Kenan Flagler Business School of UNC. I had the benefit of many great mentors and tutors throughout my childhood and know first hand how valuable their contributions are in contributing to academic success. I find it rewarding to return to the elementary school I attended as a child and volunteer at the after school program.I enjoy tutoring both math and English for grades K-12. Some of the specific subjects I tutor include algebra 1 and 2, geometry, elementary math, middle school math, pre-calculus, trigonometry, reading, writing, essay writing and editing, arithmetic, and public speaking.I have found patience and understanding to be the two most important qualities in connecting with students. I take the time to get to know all of my students and what learning strategies will work best for them. I want to not only help students find immediate academic success, but to find a new confidence in the subject that will extend throughout their academic career. Helping young children realize they can achieve far more than they ever realized is my passion.When I am not working with students I enjoy watching movies, reading, watching sports, and spending time with my family and friends.
