ExperienceDue to my extensive qualifications and immense passion for the subject, I am the ideal tutor for any student who wants to learn basic to advanced scientific concepts. I don't believe that my students should merely memorize data, I want them to fully comprehend the ideas. At present, I am in the process of obtaining a Ph.D. in Biochemistry at The Graduate Center at City University of New York. As part of my work, I am carrying out biological pharmaceutical research on a rare genetic disorder in conjunction with City College in New York. Prior to this, I studied at Northeastern University. During my time there, I was part of a team which competed in the National Student Design Competition from the American Institute of Chemical Engineering (AIChE), and we won an honorable mention. At Northeastern, I received a bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering and minored in Psychology and Biochemical Engineering. During my undergraduate studies, I joined Engineers Without Borders. I traveled with EWB and helped them in designing and constructing Honduran and Ugandan water systems. In terms of teaching, I currently serve as an adjunct professor at City College, teaching both Biochemistry and Biophysical Chemistry laboratory courses. My specialty is teaching Chemistry, Chemical Engineering Design, Biochemistry, and Organic Chemistry.
