Experience
I received my Bachelor of Science in Anthropology and Biochemistry from Lehman College. Although my primary field of study was in the field of science, I endeavored to diversify my course work in order to create a more expansive academic experience. The subjects I am most passionate about are English and biology because of my natural talent in these areas. I love being able to share my joy of learning and the knowledge I have gained with the students I tutor. My eclectic academic career has given me the resources necessary to break down complex ideas in new ways that allow students to more easily grasp the information. I whole heartedly believe repetition is an essential component in the learning process. I endeavor to show each of my students that learning is and should be fun. I individualize their learning experience to ensure I have found ways to make it fun for them specifically. Once they are enjoying themselves it is much easier for them to become more open to the learning experience. When I am not pursuing my own education or helping others develop a love for learning I enjoy writing poetry and creative writing. I recently finished writing my first book, an accomplishment I am very proud of. I also enjoy listening to music and travel.
