I've had the pleasure of working with the United States Navy and most of this has been in the aviation area. I enjoy flying planes, and I've gotten a great deal of experience working with others and learning from crew members. This has been a real challenge to learn, but I feel incredibly fortunate and happy that I've been able to do so. I truly love Math and I'm more than proud to say that I have three Honor Roll kids that are shining examples of how much I enjoyed teaching them on this subject.Since I do enjoy math so much, I love to tutor others on this subject. I've been able to both formally and informally tutor hundreds of pupils during my 35 years of tutoring experience. I know that some students simply want to memorize the concepts that I teach, but this not how you learn. I try to ensure my students learn the lesson and simply don't get high scores from taking tests by memorizing the answers. It is critical for the success of the student to actually understand each subject I tutor thoroughly.My hobbies include playing golf and cooking when I get a chance to do so.
