I have taught high school and middle school science for 14 years. I have taught a number of science courses such as biology, the living environment, forensic science, genetics, molecular biology techniques, viruses and disease, bioethics, pre-algebra and algebra. Prior to teaching, I worked in a genetics lab at Cornell University and a pathology lab at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. I have tutored students to help them prep for major standardized exams like the SAT (subject test) as well as given them a solid foundation throughout the school year. I enjoy working with people to help them see science from a different perspective. I have a very good understanding of what gets in the way of people seeing themselves as science-abled. It's just a matter of having people shift their perspective on what science is. Once the shift occurs you can't help but to see it everywhere in your life!
