AP SPANISH grammar= 5 literature= 5 SAT 1360, year 2007 WHY TUTORING? I was 15 years old when I moved to Rockland County, NY from the Dominican Republic. I was quickly admitted into high school and have been continuing my education ever since. I was an ESL student in high school and I would have not made it this far without tutoring. I am now a junior at Fordham University in the Bronx and it was a huge challenge making the transition from hight school to college. Although I struggled at the beginning, I now know how to approach different subjects and tasks with efficacy and how to study effectively. I love working with people of all ages specially children and teenagers. Teaching and tutoring helps me learn a lot as well. I would like to help other students overcome the many challenges I once had to face by myself.
