Experience
I've tutored high school students living in the Bronx, New York, in History, Science, and Spanish. I currently teach fifth grade Financial Literacy, Science, and Math. The best gift that one could give to a child is an education and that is why I would like to be a tutor. To prepare myself I've taken many history courses, which have enhanced my critical thinking and research skills. I've also taken many English classes with a focus on writing, which have helped me organize my thoughts. throughout my years in tutoring, I've learned many problem solving skills, I've been given the opportunity to work in teams as well.
