When I graduated from high school, I decided to take some time to study abroad before heading to college. I spent three years overseas and then enrolled at Yeshiva University, where I received my bachelor's degree in biology, graduating summa cum laude. As an undergraduate student, I lead a program of 120 college students who offered tutoring at the public schools. I recruited and hired tutors, worked with school administrators to get the programs put in place, and train tutors on effective teaching techniques. I served as a tutor in this program as well. I'm comfortable helping students with algebra, elementary school math, biology, chemistry, genetics, ESL, English, pre-algebra, Hebrew, and test preparation for the ACT and other exams. In my free time, I enjoy karate, tennis, and playing the mandolin.
