#### Education

Columbia University, School of Engineering and Applied Science - Bachelors, Mechanical Engineering , Columbia University, Graduate School of Arts and Science - PHD, Mechanical Engineering#### Experience

I graduated from Columbia University with my bachelor's and PhD in mechanical engineering. I attended the California Institute of Technology to earn my masters in the subject as well. While in college, I maintained an A average in all my engineering classes, while also working with other students on their coursework. In high school, as well as at University, I tutored primarily in mathematics subjects, such as algebra and geometry. I am also skilled in computer science and technology concepts. I strive to help each student build the problem-solving skills it takes to tackle any math problem. Mastering math can be accomplished through hard work, patience, and practice. I work one-on-one with each student to identify the challenges they need to overcome before building a learning plan dedicated to supporting them in their goals. I can help a student improve their grasp of complex concepts by explaining them in a simplified way that speaks to their learning style. I believe every student has the capacity to understand and excel in mathematics. All it takes is a patient and understanding instructor to guide them. In my free time, I love to be outside, working in my garden. I use my garden to grow the plants I cook with.#### Hobbies
