Experience
Hey! I'm John from sunny California, though I now live in New York. I graduated from San Jose State University with a bachelor's degree in History. I also have a master's degree in Military History from Norwich University. I have previous tutoring experience working at a college preparatory academy helping students with test preparation for many ACT, AP, and SAT subject exams. I have also been employed on a successful political campaign for a city council seat, and have written numerous literary and historical articles for an education software development company. In addition to test prep, I am able to help students in reading, writing, college essays, essay editing, American and European history, public speaking, and World history. I can also help with homework, and provide summer tutoring. In my personal studies, I am most fond of historical and political subject matter. In addition to teaching, I enjoy spending my time working on classic cars, watching hot rod programs, reading fantasy literature, playing video games, and jamming out to some METAL!
