Experience

Over the past 13 years, I've been a NY State licensed teacher at private career-technical schools. I taught automotive and diesel technology. In that work, I also helped students with the elementary math and science needed to understand the basics of technology. Before I got into teaching, I worked in industry as a service technician for over 20 years. I love seeing people learn and advance! When I see that happen, I know that something really right is going on! I enjoy being part of something positive.

I like to read about the history of physical science and how various discoveries and technologies came about. I also read about newer technologies like photonics and superconductivity! I once took a course in coastal navigation where I learned how to use compass, chronometer, charts, landmarks, the sun and even the stars (celestial navigation) to find your way! I enjoy learning! Eventually I plan to get a bachelor's degree in physics!
