Education
I grew up in the Bronx region of New York City and currently attend Lehman College in the Bronx, and I am working towards a Social Work degree. I also attended Adelphi University in Long Island and have managed to maintain a GPA above 3.0 at both institutions, I currently have a 3.5 GPA.
Experience
I have tutored High School students with various subjects and college ESL students with their English abilities. I took two AP exams whilst I was in High School and excelled in both-I received a 3 and 4 on them, and managed to obtain college credits. I love working with students and helping them achieve academic success especially because I understand the stress and pressure of doing well in school. I have taken multiple college level liberal arts classes such as Math, Science (biology), History (American History and World History), and English (Writing and Literature) courses. Received a President’s Award for Educational Achievement when I was in High school and I have a lot of experience working with youth including tutoring and mentoring.

Mon/Wed/Fri after 12 Noon, Weekends after 12 Noon, Tues/Thurs after 5PM

Hobbies
I enjoy writing poems and short stories. I also have a strong interest in dance, specifically ballroom dancing but other kinds as well. I love to do volunteer and community work as well.
